Made as an offshoot to Bryony's ongoing research into (waste)water. Taken from a quote from Virginia Woolf’s ‘Mrs. Dalloway’, and used as the epigraph in Astrida Neimanis’s ‘Bodies of Water’.
These prints were made using tidal mud from the River Avon (there is a variation in the print texture).
The typeface, ‘MARTIN’ is designed by Vocal Type and is described as a non-violent typeface, inspired by remnants of the Memphis Sanitation Strike of 1968.
